A true old fashioned hardware store just like grandad remembers. A real find. Have everything you need along with real advice.
Nice people work here. They have a lot of merchandise in this store----probably about 3 times the amount that will actually fit. You can walk around but barely....that is how jam packed this place is. I am honestly surprised the fire marshal hasn't made them trim this place down in order to meet code. Oh well not my call. They have a lot of knives. They also sell gas. I don't live around here so I doubt I would come back unless I was already nearby.
Best selection of Pocket Knives in N.C. friendly folks and a unbelievable amount of merchandise in such a compact location...If you are passing through, stop in...
Had never been here before. Stopped in on the way to Boone to pick up a couple Buck knives. This store is a combination gas station and hardware store. I have never in my life seen a store more jam-packed with merchandise than this place. I am not exaggerating when I say that it is tough to even walk around the aisles. Damn near claustrophobic. Selection of Bucks was sad. Overpriced by quite bit on some knives. Found 2 I asked to buy and it took the employee 15 minutes to find the right key to get into the knife case. No apology. Won't be back.
Incredible selection of Hardware and other merchandise. Also has the cheapest prices for gas in the whole area. Many people go there just for the HUGE array of pocket knives....also a Case outlet. Family owned and operated.
